I cannot fault Rosie Huntington Whiteley's style in any way. She has that model off duty look down pat and just keeps killing it on the streets and on the red carpet. I love that she (or her stylist) knows what looks best on her lean slender supermodel bod and just works off variations of the skinny leg jeans + loose sweater/ tee combo. And the way she rocks the fedora and sunnies just to add a little bit of mystery to the hottest girl in Hollywood. Eying her arm candy as well, especially her rose gold studded Rocco duffle bag. I have no idea what her acting skills are like, but with a face and wardrobe like that, who cares?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Gucci 2011 Fall RTW. Honestly this is the most amazing thing I've seen all week. I fell in love with this collection when it first hit the runway and ever since then I've been anticipating its debut on the red carpet. And now it's finally here. Gosh doesn't she just look stunning? I don't know what her acting skills are like but boy can you tell she's a Victoria's Secret angel. The face, her look and her killer long legs. This is the perfect dress for her figure. Love the black mini under a sheer black maxi, it's such a statement. And the delicate silk crepe floral detail just give it that something extra. Gosh I love everything about it - the revealing sheer maxi, the thin belt to cinch the waist, the yellow-y mustard colour, the layered silk crepe, the one shoulder style and the intricate 3D floral detail. It's such a fitting dress for someone who's really starting to emerge as a style icon - Rosie's been appearing on best dressed lists all year and her street style is also something to be admired. Would have been that much better if she had her hair pulled back or up so it doesn't get in the way of the floral shoulder piece like they did on the runway but it's still an incredible look. Love!

As you can probably tell, I'm having a bloggers field day after the discovery of a Photoshop like application called Pixelmator for my Mac which I think has really made a difference with the aesthetics of my blog. I have a new banner, a new style inspiration sidebar and I'm able to piece photos together like so so you don't have to scroll down through endless images.
Here is a selection of my best dressed list for the Met Ball 2011 (I emphasise selection because I keep finding celebs to add to my list). All of Hollywood young and old rocked up to the event in honour of Alexander McQueen. My gold star goes to Diana Kruger wearing a charming sexy slit dress by Jason Wu, and my up and coming award to Emma Roberts in a chic, sleek silk crepe gown by Michael Kors. The trends for the night seemed to be nude palettes, tulle and silk, trains, classic long white gowns and sequinned embellishments.
